Upway is currently recruiting for the position of Finance Controller. This role presents a unique opportunity to drive significant impact on building the finance team and function from scratch.

• Set-up the accounting systems and processes across our different geographies
• Build, hire and lead an internal accounting team
• Ensure financial and tax compliance with our external accounting firms and counsels
• Deliver and present a clean and consolidated PnL per market on a monthly basis
• Support founders on ad-hoc finance related projects

• 3+ years of Financial Controlling experience
• Strong Business or Engineering Academic background in Finance
• At ease in English and Native French. German or Dutch speaking could be a plus but not required
• Autonomy and ability to operate in high pace environments
• Willingness to take total ownership of topics and be accountable for results
