Description

The fashion industry is responsible for 5-10% of global greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). More and more companies are using Carbon Management Platforms to measure and create CO2 reduction plans. However, most of these generalist solutions are not tailored for a fashion brand, which requires detailed insights on materials and manufacturing processes throughout the entire lifecycle of its products.

We raised a total of $17 million from Alven, Headline, Y Combinator and angel investors. Now, hundreds of brands and fashion groups are using Carbonfact (e.g. New Balance, Carhartt, Allbirds, Adore Me, Armedangels, Fusalp, Allbirds, Happy Socks, etc.).

Mission

As a Senior Account Executive, you will directly report to Léa Prunier (Head of Sales, ex-Doctolib & Salesforce). Your missions will include:

  • Constantly develop a pipeline of enterprise leads
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for 5- and 6-figure deals
  • Conduct physical and online meetings, from initial to close (exploration, proposal, negotiation ...)
  • Occasionally travel to conferences and trade shows
  • Nurture relationships with prospects once established
  • Be a sales buddy to junior Account Executives and help them grow

For the first 6 months, you will be generating your own opportunities. Then, you will be supported by a Business Development Representative to supply you with qualified business opportunities.

Expected
  • You have experience in enterprise sales and 3+ years of track record of signing 400k€ new ARR or more
  • You're a doer and willing to roll up your sleeves
  • You have excellent written communication skills (RFP, emailing, scoping documents, etc...)
  • You have an international DNA and speak English fluently

The potential of 
Carbonfact

Brands and fashion groups are already using Carbonfact (e.g. New Balance, Carhartt, Allbirds, APC, ArmedAngels, etc.) and they raised $2 million from Y Combinator, Alven, and angel investors in 2021, and $15M Series A. 

We have been helping Carbonfact from Day 1, and following their path from 3 to 20 employees. They have been focusing on setting up a strong company culture + hiring powerful individuals. 

Since the fashion industry is responsible for at least 1 GtCO2 per year, Carbonfact’s impact on the fashion industry can lead to reducing CO2 emissions by several hundreds of millions of tons per year
